Gigi Love= Lucinda Williams+ Sheryl Crow+ Gina French Bittersweet alt-country goes down smooth as warm buttered rum, or better yet, buttered rum Lifesavers. Everything on this album is so perfectly executed and produced. My favorite tracks are “Baja Blue”, “Dali on Fire” and “Goodbye Arcata”.

SLC Weekly- Randy Harward

--Turning to Gold review--
Gigi Love’s hook is her voice, an impossibly mellifluous warble that fairly melts one’s insides. It sets us up so the songs-can knock us down. How she does it? By singing of simple things and concepts like “Kisses” and “Destiny” and putting them in no unique or innovative context-she just captures their essences and conveys the emotion. It’s no big trick, but then it is-it’s easy to sing a song, but much more difficult to connect with a listener. This, Love does with magical aplomb.

Reading Searchlight
“Love weaves a throaty honky-tonk blues and folk sensibility from her native Texas into melodies as strong and clear as the early spring desert sunshine of her adopted Utah”

Red Reviews University of Utah
“Love flirts with both confident force and supple vocal caresses"

SLC Weekly
“Her instantly recognizable voice, soaring between tremulous soprano and sultry alto drives her breezy pop hooks home”

Catalyst Magazine
“Marries heartfelt, at times solipsistic lyrics with familiar but sturdy acoustic guitar accompaniment and exhibits a degree of craft absent from many troubadour sets.”
